‘Joya’ refers to a type of a shallow valley, which is the type of landscape that you will see when you are walking on the farm of Rudy López Castillo. When he saw the location, he decided to put this name to it. In the beginning it was challenging for him to start the farm, because he had few resources. But he just started planting little by little. He is now mainly happy with the fact that he can produce higher quality and improving his farm. Proud of good practices on the farm, the selection of ripe cherries, planning well throughout the farm cycle.
