FIRST IN SPAIN & TERRACOTTA BAR
The Miners Poblenou Bakery is our first home in Barcelona — and our first step outside the Czech Republic. Opened in December 2022 on Rambla del Poblenou, this is where the Prague spirit landed on the Mediterranean coast. Designed by Isern Serra: raw stone walls, terracotta-tiled bar, arched openings framing the light, open shelving stacked with coffee bags and natural wines, lush plants softening every corner. Specialty coffee, fresh pastries, and the unhurried atmosphere of a proper Barcelona morning.
OUR BARCELONA BAKERY Our bakery operation in Barcelona — every pastry on the counter is made here, every flat white pulled steps away. Mediterranean mornings done the way they should be: a fresh croissant, a strong cup, and nowhere urgent to be. The Spanish home base of The Miners kitchen.
THE FIRST BORDER CROSSED The first The Miners to open beyond Czech borders. December 2022, Rambla del Poblenou — the moment Prague specialty coffee landed in Barcelona. Same standards, same beans, new city. Everything Spain after this traces back to here.
THE COLOUR OF THE CITY The terracotta tiling that wraps the bar — pure Barcelona, the kind of orange that only makes sense in this city. A piece of local material brought straight into the room, anchoring The Miners in the Mediterranean. You'll recognise it the moment you walk in.
