Across from the Sant Francesc de Sales church. A curved sage-tiled bar anchors the room, exposed brick columns, warm terracotta tones, globe pendants casting everything in soft glow, arched mirrors doubling the space. Specialty coffee, weekend brunch, fresh pastries — the kind of address that earns a permanent place in your Barcelona routine.
BRUNCH DAILY Brunch runs every day at Sant Joan — eggs, toasts, bowls, the whole spread. Pair with a flat white, take a seat by the window, watch the boulevard wake up. The kind of morning the neighbourhood treats as routine.
SIGNATURE CHEESECAKE Everything on the pastry counter is baked in-house, but the star is the cheesecake — our own recipe of the classic syrnik, and now quietly famous in L'Eixample. Try once, come back for it. Most do.
THE SUNNY TERRACE The terrace catches the morning light and the steady rhythm of Barcelona passing by — Modernista facades, the church across the street, the boulevard doing its thing. One of the better breakfast seats in L'Eixample, full stop.
